Today, the Taliban removed the signboard of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs from the entrance of the ministry and replaced it with the signboard of Invitation, Guidance, enjoining good and forbidding evil Ministry of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Although the Taliban have not yet confirmed the news, but media reports suggest that the ministry no longer has a Ministry of Women’s Affairs signboards, and replaced with Invitation, Guidance, enjoining good and forbidding evil Ministry of Islamic Emirate. However, Taliban had promised the international community in Qatar, that when they reach the power, they will respect women and would allow women to work under their government, but that’s now seems contrary with their actions.
