Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have confirmed to media that unidentified militants attacked a border post in Hangu Balandkhel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, injuring seven Pakistani frontier corps soldiers, who were rushed to a military hospital for treatment. Two militants were also killed in the clash and others managed to escape. Although no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but Pakistani Taliban groups are active in the area, occasionally carrying out attacks on Pakistani forces.
