Sources told the media that two female activists, Tamana Zaryab Paryani and Parwana Ibrahimkhel, were abducted by the Taliban from their homes in the capital Kabul on Wednesday, but the Taliban denied that their forces had abducted the two women activists. Meanwhile, a recent statement from the United Nations Office in Kabul expressed concern over the disappearance of the two women activists and called on the Taliban to provide information on the missing activists.

A Video surfaced and circulating in social media, appears that Tamana Paryani yelling for help “Please help, the Taliban have come to my house, my sisters are at home,” she said. She then shouts, “I don’t want this time to come, come tomorrow, we’ll talk tomorrow.” Pariani has been missing since the incident and her whereabouts are unknown.
