The Islamic State (ISIS) group has claimed responsibility for Sunday’s deadly suicide attack at the entrance of Kabul’s military airport, claiming that 50 Taliban security personal for that military airport were killed and wounded in the attack. “
Taliban security officials have not announced the number of casualties in this deadly suicide attack but on Sunday evening, Al Jazeera Arabi TV reported that the number of victims of this attack has reached 14 dead and 18 wounded.
In the telegram channel of ISIS’s Khorasan branch, it is reported that a suicide bomber gained access to the entrance of the military section of the Kabul airport and exploded his explosive belt among a group of Taliban men standing in line to check their ID cards, 20 killed and 30 wounded.
ISIS has also released a photo of this suicide bomber calling him “Abdul Jabbar” but has not specified his nationality.
