Taliban general spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a recent statement that “in the coordinated security operations of the Taliban Security Forces against ISIS militants, which were carried out on three ISIS hideouts in Kabul and Nimroz provinces yesterday, 8 domestic and foreign ISIS member were killed, and 7 others were arrested. According to the statement, “these ISIS members were responsible for the organizing and carried out of attacks on the Langan Hotel in Kabul (where Chinese citizens were staying), suicide attack over the Kabul airport and the Pakistani embassy. Likewise, they were further planned and were ready to carry out more attacks but the Taliban forces on time action against these ISIS members, prevented further attacks”.
