Umarov, a member of Ukraine’s negotiating team with Russia, said in a recent statement that Putin’s forces are preparing to attack Ukraine from three sides. According to Umarov, the attack by the Russian forces could begin in early February. According to him, this attack will come from the north, along the border of Belarus, from south and east from Russia center. Umarov further added that, “Russian troops are encircling us from 240 degrees, they will attack from the Black Sea side, from the regions of Belarus, Luhansk and Donetsk.”
At the same time, he said that Ukraine does not have enough ammunition and weapons. “We are fighting the Russians with our own hands”.
These statements of the Ukrainian officials releasing at a time when NATO and its allies are still reluctant to help Ukraine with some advanced weapons.
