A High-Level Delegation from the Russian Federation Arrives in Kabul for Security and Economic Talks with the Taliban!

According to a statement released by the Taliban’s media office, today the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Kabir, along with a senior delegation, met with Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the National Security Council of the Russian Federation, and his accompanying delegation.

The statement mentioned that during this meeting, discussions were held on expanding trade, economic, and political cooperation between the two countries. The Russian delegation also announced that Afghanistan would regain its observer status in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Meanwhile, Mullah Abdul Kabir assured the Russian delegation that the Islamic Emirate is committed to ensuring regional security and stability, emphasizing that no country would be allowed to use Afghan territory against others.

The meeting also included proposals from both sides for enhancing trade relations, reducing customs tariffs, and forming technical committees to initiate joint projects.
