Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a recent remarks that he held a one-on-one meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris today. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening Ukraine’s defensive capabilities against Russian aggression.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to France for its support, particularly for training a military brigade for the Ukrainian army. He added, “During the meeting, both sides emphasized the need for joint efforts regarding the role of international forces in ensuring peace.”
It is worth noting that recent efforts to establish peace in Ukraine, led by French President Emmanuel Macron and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, have intensified. These efforts come as clashes between Russia and Ukraine along the conflict lines continue to escalate.
