The British military has successfully tested a Radio Frequency Direct Energy Weapon (RFDEW) for the first time, designed to defend against drones.
This system can detect, track, and neutralize drones and other threats operating on land, air, or sea. By using high-frequency waves, the RFDEW system disables the electronic systems of drones, causing them to crash.
Each shot fired by this weapon costs just 10 pence, making it a highly cost-effective solution.
This advanced system is expected to be integrated with traditional missile defense systems, enhancing the UK’s capability to combat drone threats.
