Reports from Israel indicate that moments ago, sirens sounded across the country following the launch of ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv by Houthi rebels from Yemen.
In a fresh statement, Israel’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that ballistic missiles had been launched at Israel from Yemen. The sirens were activated to alert Israeli citizens. However, the ministry has not yet provided further details about the incident.
It is worth noting that earlier on Thursday morning, Israeli air forces targeted multiple Houthi sites in Yemen. It is believed that the current attack by the Houthi rebels could be a direct response to Israel’s earlier airstrikes.
