Kabul: Explosion Reported Near the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior!

by Hewad Press

Reports from Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, indicate that an explosion occurred near the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior today, causing casualties.

The anti-Taliban armed group, known as the National Resistance Front, has claimed responsibility for the attack in a recent statement. They alleged that the explosion killed or injured 15 people, including a Taliban commander. However, Khalid Zadran, the spokesman for the Taliban’s Kabul police, confirmed the incident to the media but stated that only four civilians were injured in the blast.

It is worth noting that security incidents in Taliban-controlled Kabul have been increasing. Two weeks ago, a suicide bombing claimed the life of the Taliban’s Minister of Interior, Khalil ur-Rahman Haqqani.
