A Canadian Aircraft Made an Emergency Landing Due to Landing Gear Failure!

by Hewad Press

Reports from Canada indicate that on Saturday night, an Air Canada plane en route from St. John’s made an emergency landing at Halifax International Airport due to a technical issue. During the landing, the aircraft’s landing gear malfunctioned, causing the plane to skid off the runway. The left wing struck the ground and sustained damage.

A passenger on board the flight told the media that flames were visible from the left wing, and smoke had entered the cabin during the emergency landing.

The Halifax Airport Fire Department stated that their team promptly extinguished the flames. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

It is worth mentioning that earlier today, a similar incident occurred in South Korea, where a passenger plane veered off the runway during an emergency landing. The plane caught fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of 179 passengers, with only two survivors.
