Reports from Quetta indicate that an armed attack near Gahi Khan Chowk on Sariab Road resulted in casualties among four Pakistani police officers. According to a local police source cited by Hewad Press, two police officers were killed, and two others injured in the incident.
The source added that the assailants also hurled explosives at the police during the attack before fleeing the scene.
It is worth noting that three separate security incidents were reported today in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, specifically in Karak, Mohmand, and Peshawar, where three Pakistani soldiers were also killed.
