Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a statement confirming that U.S. military assistance to Ukraine continues as before.
The Ukrainian president’s remarks came in response to media reports claiming that the United States had suspended its aid. Zelensky reassured his people and international allies that Ukraine continues to enjoy unwavering support from the U.S.
The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) also clarified in a statement that the recent executive order regarding the suspension of foreign aid does not impact military assistance to Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, previously approved military aid packages for Ukraine will continue to be delivered as scheduled.
