Reports from Balochistan indicate that a bomb explosion in the Khori area of Khuzdar district, targeting a passenger bus traveling to Rawalpindi, has resulted in one death and injuries to seven others.
Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dashti informed the media that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a vehicle parked along the roadside. Among the injured, some are reported to be in critical condition and have been shifted to nearby medical facilities.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the region has seen activity from Baloch separatist militants in the past.
