WASHINGTON – Keith Kellogg, the special envoy for Ukraine and Russia under President Donald J. Trump, has warned that the global landscape has drastically shifted over the past four years, with the United States now facing an emerging military and political alliance between China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
Speaking about the changing geopolitical dynamics, Kellogg emphasized the growing cooperation between these nations, which he described as a significant challenge to U.S. strategic interests. “The world has changed compared to four years ago. The U.S. is now facing a political and military alliance between China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea,” he stated.
In a stark warning, Kellogg suggested that Russian soldiers could potentially be deployed to fight in South Korea if tensions escalate with North Korea, a scenario that would further escalate tensions in the region.
The statement comes as global conflicts intensify, with ongoing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as heightened tensions in the Indo-Pacific.
