Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Ankara on February 18, where he is set to hold crucial talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Turkey’s Communications Director, Fahrettin Altun, announced the visit on his social media account. He stated, “President Erdoğan will meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday.”
According to reports, the two leaders will assess the strategic relations between Turkey and Ukraine and explore new steps to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
One of the key topics of this visit is the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, as Turkey continues its efforts to mediate for peace.
Turkish officials have stated that Erdoğan and Zelensky will also discuss the latest developments in Ukraine, as well as other regional and global issues.
