Tensions Escalate as Trump Warns Iran Over Houthi Attacks; Iran Vows ‘Devastating’ Response!

by Hewad Press

Tensions between the United States and Iran have reached new heights following a forceful warning from President Donald J. Trump, who directly held Iran accountable for the continued Houthi attacks in the Red Sea region.

In a strongly worded statement, President Trump declared that any further aggression by the Houthis would be treated as an attack orchestrated by Iran itself. “Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN,” he warned, adding that Iran would be held responsible and face severe consequences.

Trump accused Tehran of actively directing the Houthis, supplying them with weapons, intelligence, and sophisticated military equipment.” He signaled that U.S. military action in response to Houthi attacks might not be limited to the group alone but could extend to Iran.

Shortly after Trump’s statement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, Gen. Hossein Salami, issued a defiant response. Speaking to Iranian state media, he warned of a “tough, decisive, and devastating reaction” to any threat against Iran. His comments came after U.S. forces carried out fresh strikes against the Houthis, whom Washington accuses of disrupting global shipping routes and threatening international security.

The situation remains highly volatile, with the possibility of further escalation if hostilities continue. The international community is closely watching to see if diplomacy can avert a broader conflict in the region.
