KALAT – A senior affiliate of the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI), Maulvi Imdadullah Shah, was killed in a targeted attack by unknown gunmen on Sunday in the Pandran area of Kalat district, Balochistan province, the party announced in an official statement.
Shah, was considered an influential figure within the local party structure. His assassination has sparked widespread outrage among party members and supporters.
The JUI-F leadership has condemned the killing, calling for swift action to bring those responsible to justice. Law enforcement agencies have launched an urgent investigation, and security measures have been heightened across the region.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
