U.S. President Donald J. Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday to reiterate his hardline stance against Iran’s nuclear ambitions — this time directing his message at conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.
“Somebody please explain to kooky Tucker Carlson that, ‘IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!’” Trump wrote.
The post comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following reported Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military sites and growing concern over Tehran’s nuclear program.
Tucker Carlson has not yet responded publicly to the president’s remarks.
