On the occasion of arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, Canada Ambassador Reid Sirrs for Afghanistan urged Taliban to end violence. He tweeted today from his Twitter account, stated that “The holy month of #Ramadan is a time of compassion, kindness, charity & non-violence. 
calls on parties to the conflict, especially the Taliban, to #EndViolence. We call for an end to targeted killings of civilians, journalists, women, HRDs & others working for peace”
Prior of CanadaAmbassador message, Taliban political office spokesman at Doha, Qater, had sent a brief message to media, stated that they are not ready to attend the upcoming peace summit at Turkey which is scheduled to be hold on 16 April of 2021.
