Residents, political and social leaders of Landi Kotal town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today staged protest about the price hikes of flours fixed by the federal government of Pakistan.
The protestors carried placards adorned with slogans against unprecedented price hiking in routine food items.
Local Social and Political leaders addressed their opposition against the hike in rates of flour fixed by the federal and provincial government, and strongly condemned this action of the government. The protesters were saying that current wave of inflation has increased the problems of the people while the government is not serious about solving the inflation and public problems. He added that now the people are even unable to earn their living due to the current wave of inflation.
The protesters demanded the government to decrease the rates of the food items and control the traders stocking tracks.
