Reports from Iran indicate that around 7 PM this evening, a car bomb suicide attack targeted a military compound in Bandar Lengeh, near Hormozgan Province. The head of Bandar Lengeh’s military intelligence, Mojtaba Shahidi, was killed in the attack.
According to Tehran Times, three police officers were also injured in the explosion.
Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet, the region is known for the presence of the militant group Jaish al-Adl.
