Reports from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa indicate that militants abducted three Pakistani military personnel near the Dodhywala Police Station in Lakki Marwat district earlier today.
According to a police source, the militants set up a temporary checkpoint in the area, where they stopped vehicles, forced the military personnel out, and took them to an unknown location.
A witness to the incident stated, “The militants stopped the vehicle, forced the three soldiers out during the search, and took them towards the Samandari mountains.”
Police say that search operations is already initiated. Meanwhile, security experts express growing concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in the region, which has witnessed a surge in militant activities in recent weeks.
