The Ukrainian military has announced that on Thursday, it conducted a targeted strike on a Russian command post in the Mariino area of the Kursk region, severely damaging the facility.
While Russia has not commented on the strike, it has stated that Ukrainian forces fired four missiles in the region, all of which were shot down by air defense systems. Social media videos from the scene show significant destruction within the command center after the attack.
It is worth noting that, in recent weeks, efforts from the United States and France to push for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have intensified. However, despite these diplomatic efforts, the conflict continues to worsen, raising concerns that peace talks may prove unsuccessful.
