The Taliban’s media office in Kabul has reported that Robert Dixon, the British Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires for Afghanistan, met with Mawlawi Zakirullah Zakir, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Political Affairs Office, in Kabul.
According to the statement, the two officials discussed political relations and humanitarian aid during their meeting.
Meanwhile, Iran’s new Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, also arrived in Kabul and held discussions with Taliban Prime Minister Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund at the Presidential Palace.
