A senior Taliban commander, Mullah Mohammad Rahim, also known as Ahmad Sahib, was killed in the drone strike between Zherai and Maiwand districts of Kandahar, a security source told Hewad Press. The security source added that the Taliban commander was the second senior leader after the slain Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor.
